The movie does a great job of showing how corrupt and greedy the casino business can be. It portrays several characters as complete sociopaths, but at the same time it manages to create a compelling story with its narrative and acting. The dynamic between the two of them, as well as that between De Niro and his partner Sam Rothstein, is one of the most interesting aspects of this movie.
Aside from the shady dealings, Casino is an entertaining movie that will keep you entertained throughout. And the end of the movie is satisfying, as all the characters get their comeuppance. The only thing that could have made this movie better was more scenes of the beautiful Casino de Monte-Carlo, which is a stunning example of luxury and elite leisure.
